REVIEW: ‘Morris and Friends’ opera dream team sings praise

A number of African American opera singers grew up singing gospel in their church. Morris Robinson’s “Morris and Friends,” a concert featuring singing in both genres, was a powerful and uplifting illustration of those roots.
