PHOENIX - Jan. 13, 2022 - PRLog -- Cummings Graduate Institute for Behavioral Health Studies (CGI) is excited to welcome Gabe Orthous as the Director of the Master of Healthcare Leadership (MHL) program. Mr. Orthous previously served as a subject matter expert at CGI, specializing in healthcare information technology, value-based care, quality improvement, informatics, and healthcare management.

Gabe Orthous is a healthcare information technology executive offering 20+ years of progressive experience as a value-based care strategic thinker and executor with a history of scaling and driving return on investment of complex HIT solutions. He is accomplished in helping large healthcare systems and insurer organizations develop analytics strategies that are highly effective in raising quality levels, improving patient outcomes, and reducing costs and has co-authored a best-selling book, SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence: The Comprehensive Guide, currently in its fourth edition. Mr. Orthous currently serves as an adjunct professor in Georgia State University's Informatics Department and at Sacred Heart University's Informatics Department.

The recently announced Master of Healthcare Leadership (MHL) Program delivers advanced training in leading and managing integrated healthcare delivery. The MHL Program prepares students to transform healthcare settings using firm foundations in population health management, strategic thinking, critical analysis, and innovative change-management.
