To ensure the perfect ice quality of the curling tracks, Sweden-based Munters Group AB, a world-leading dehumidification brand, saw its Chinese technicians conduct in-depth exchanges with the world’s top ice-making experts to design a customized air supply and dehumidification system for the ice rink that takes into account the climate of Beijing, as well as the technical preparations to secure the quality of competitions. In order to meet the stringent requirements of the International Curling Association for venue noise, Munters’ technical team has addressed key issues and come up with an ultra-quiet design that reduces the air output of the equipment from 60 decibels to 45 decibels.
