Vanderbilt University Medical Center plans $144 million hospital in Murfreesboro

The announcement comes a little more than a year after Tennessee officials rejected VUMC’s bid to build a similar facility in Murfreesboro, after the proposal faced opposition from Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford, Williamson Medical Center and StoneCrest Medical Center.
