Improve the incentive model and promote the sound development of SWARM ecosystem
BXX, as an incentive token of built-in economic system in Swarm 2.0, is used to incentivize nodes, users and other participants in the ecosystem, forming incentive compatibility.
Swarm 2.0 consists of many independent nodes. These nodes are autonomous although they run under the same protocol, so they are essentially "free". The original Swarm network failed to provide good node incentives and incentive token circulation mechanism, resulting in fewer network contributors and loss of service capabilities.
To avoid this situation, Swarm 2.0 has upgraded the incentive system so that all participants in the network could balance and maximize the benefits of the network. The Swarm incentive system includes two parts: task reward and online block reward. Task reward: Any node participating in the network that provides effective transfer or storage services for its peer-to-peer network nodes can be rewarded.
In addition, a round of online block reward will be given every 7 days. All nodes that have obtained task reward and submitted records on the chain in the corresponding block interval of this round can enter the qBZZ candidate pool. 1% of nodes from the qBZZ candidate pool will be selected under the smart contract as the qBZZ nodes. All nodes that interact with the qBZZ, have obtained task reward and submitted records on the chain in the corresponding block interval of this round will equally share the block reward tokens.
Swarm 2.0 publisher must spend BXX to purchase the right to write data to the Swarm 2.0 network, and prepay rent for long-term storage. In addition, Swarm 2.0 team is managed by a DAO organization, which allow all BXX token holders to participate in proposals and votes on the ecological development direction of the network.
With this incentive design, the enthusiasm and task processing speed of node participants are guaranteed, and participants in the ecosystem can be quickly and persistently motivated to promote the sound development of swarm ecosystem.
SWARM 2.0 Testnet Released, Getting BXX Airdrops by Participating in Test
SWARM 2.0 testnet will be officially released on July 26, 2021. There will be a chance to get 1.25 million BXX tokens in early participation in the test. The specific rules on testnet reward are as follows:
1. All miner nodes participating in the test will have the chance to get airdrops from July 26, 2021 (UTC+00);
2. If you start and run the Swarm 2.0 test nodes during the airdrop event, you will obtain and cash the checks after interacting with qBZZ nodes (randomly generated every hour);
3. The number of airdrops obtained by the node is related to the frequency of qBZZ exchanges and the test duration.
