as just an idea out of a basement nearly two years ago, in 2019. The members' diverse
personalities would bring them to create music that combines the raw power of hard rock and
angst with immaculate melodies of electronic pop to form the sounds of ModernWelfare.
Coming out of Florida, USA, ModernWelfare is comprised of four group members: Lucas Hay,
lead singer; John Gabriel Yabut, drums; Dan Renz, guitar; and Byron Taylor on guitar.
Since the formation of the group, ModernWelfare has written songs and played at various
shows solidifying their place in the modern alternative rock genre. ModernWelfare is now ready
to step out in the brighter limelight to showcase their new single "Walls". Written and produced at
East Iris Studios in Nashville, TN, with Kyle Odell and Zach William. Their sound is like a
reminisce of artists and bands such as Lincoln Park, Bring Me the Horizon, and Dance Gavin
Dance. ModernWelfare's wordplay focuses on addictions, mental health issues, and personal
struggles. They are the most exciting new rock band to hit 2021 thus far.
ModernWelfare's main destination on the road to stardom is the big stage, in hopes of
reaching a larger audience. "We work hard to accomplish our dreams," says the band. With
notions of leading by example, the group wants to show those who may be struggling to not give

May 21 st ModernWelfare is set to release their new single "Walls" to all major streaming
platforms, have new merchandise, and an official lyric video for "Walls". With all that's in
