In trading on Thursday, the SPDR S&P Metals and Mining ETF (XME) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.1% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of AK Steel Holding (AKS), up about 9.4% and shares of Royal Gold (RGLD), up about 8.4% on the day.
