NEW YORK, June 6 /PRNewswire/ -- TBWA\Chiat\Day today announced that it has appointed Corey Mitchell president TBWA\Chiat\Day, New York. Mitchell (38) was previously worldwide managing director for TBWA's global Mars account. Mitchell will have responsibility for both the TBWA\Chiat\Day and TEQUILA\ offices in New York and partner with executive creative director Gerry Graf.

Mitchell has been with TBWA for eight years, including five with TBWA\Chiat\Day in Los Angeles, where he was a key member of the new business team that experienced a period of unprecedented growth.
In Mitchell's 19 years in advertising, he has held regional, national and global positions around the world from Melbourne to Hong Kong to Singapore to Sydney to Los Angeles, and New York. His brand, retail and CRM experience covers the full range of brand communication -- he has led the integration of digital, CRM, in-store, event, retail activation and advertising companies, on both a domestic and global level, and, at one point, also launched a brand arts and packaging company.
