This quarter, analysts are expecting VeriSign’s revenue to grow 6.7% year on year to $416.8 million, improving from the 3.8% increase it recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $2.25 per share.

Analysts covering the company have generally reconfirmed their estimates over the last 30 days, suggesting they anticipate the business to stay the course heading into earnings. VeriSign has only missed Wall Street’s revenue estimates once since going public and has exceeded top-line expectations on average.

However, the segment has faced declining investor sentiment as VeriSign’s peer group is down 3.5% on average over the last month. VeriSign is down 6% during the same time and is heading into earnings with an average analyst price target of $309 (compared to the current share price of $265.70).
