About Naijah Faour, DPM
Since her start as an EMT at the age of 16, Dr. Faour has dedicated herself to providing high-quality and compassionate medical care to patients. Says Dr. Faour, “I care deeply about my community and my patients. The partnership with StrideCare gives me additional resources to provide comprehensive preventative care and education to patients suffering from lower extremity ailments.”
Raised in Burlington, Vermont, Dr. Faour moved to Ohio to attend The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland. After obtaining her podiatric medical doctorate she became the first female graduate to complete a PM&S-36 at Alliance Community Hospital in Alliance, Ohio. She served as chief resident her last year.
Dr. Faour specialized in trauma care, limb salvage, and revisional surgery before joining Premier Foot & Ankle. She now treats patients for all foot and ankle ailments including wound care, pediatric podiatry, trauma and general podiatry. According to Dr. Faour, “Even with my extensive surgical experience, I don’t resort to invasive surgery as an initial course of treatment.” She is also a sought-after lecturer on diabetic foot care and congenital pediatric foot diagnosis and management.
