Rexburg, Idaho - The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) is pleased to announce that Sky Sessions, DDS, MAGD, of Rexburg, Idaho, recently received the prestigious Mastership Award. This commencement celebration recognizes the commitment to excellence in dental education of AGD members. During the event at the AGD’s scientific session on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in Montreal, QC, Dr. Sessions accepted this award along with 75 other general dentists who earned this recognition.
The Mastership Award is the highest honor available in the AGD and one of the most respected designations in the profession. This accomplishment meets the highest criteria for professional excellence. To accomplish this, Dr. Sessions completed 1,100 hours of continuing dental education in the 16 disciplines of dentistry, including 400 hours dedicated to hands-on skills and techniques. As a recipient of this award, Dr. Sessions has joined nearly 4,175 members of the dental community who recognize that providing great smiles and good oral health for their patients requires going above and beyond basic requirements.

A general dentist is the primary care provider for patients of all ages and is responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, management, and overall coordination of services related to patients’ oral health needs.
Dr. Sessions graduated from Marquette University in 2012 and currently practices as a trusted dentist in Rexburg, Idaho. In addition to the AGD, Dr. Sessions is a member of the Idaho State Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
