Tech Alpharetta Hosts Fourth Annual Golf Classic with Stellar Consulting Solutions

Alpharetta Business and Nonprofit Co-host Tournament to Help Support STEAM Mentoring Program for High School Girls

Tech Alpharetta, the nonprofit organization helping the City of Alpharetta to lead in tech innovation, announces its fourth annual golf tournament in partnership with Alpharetta-based Stellar Consulting Solutions, and its title sponsor, Dell Technologies/ Dell for Startups. The event will take place on Monday, September 30, at the Manor Golf & Country Club in Milton.

The annual Golf Classic was created to help advance Tech Alpharetta’s mission of growing technology and innovation in the City of Alpharetta, which is continuing to grow as a thriving technology hub with more than 900 tech companies. Tech Alpharetta has pledged to donate 50% of the net proceeds from the tournament to the Tech Alpharetta Women’s Forum’s STEAM Mentoring Program for high school girls at Innovation Academy High School in Alpharetta. The Tech Alpharetta Women’s Forum is now an independent nonprofit, 501c(3) status pending, which runs the popular STEAM Mentoring Program.

“Our annual Golf Classic offers the opportunity to connect with local tech executives during our fun and engaging golf tournament, all while raising money to help serve more high school girls through our Women’s Forum STEAM mentoring program,” says Karen Cashion, President and CEO of Tech Alpharetta.

The tournament’s four-person scramble has a 10 am shotgun start and includes a new contest hosted by this year’s title sponsor, Dell Technologies/Dell for Startups.
