Armanino Rallies Around Earth Day, Raising Money to Plant 2,679 Trees Through Its Inaugural Canopy Challenge

322 Armanino team members donated to the cause, marking an incredible participation rate and measurable impact on the environment

Armanino LLP, a top 20 national accounting and consulting firm, is proud to celebrate the success of the Armanino Canopy Challenge. This three-week-long fundraising effort just finished on Earth Day and sought to raise money to help plant as many trees as possible through Treedom, a Certified B Corporation, supporting tree planting projects in Africa, South America and Asia. Thanks to the generosity of Armanino employees, colleagues, friends, and the Armanino Foundation, which matched Armanino employee donations, the Canopy Challenge raised enough money to plant 2,679 trees.

As a Certified B Corp, Armanino is committed to sustainability and climate justice initiatives. The Canopy project was Armanino’s most ambitious effort yet and exceeded its initial goal of raising enough money to plant 2,400 trees. The inspiring contributions of participants in the campaign means that Armanino will help pull 673 tons of carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere, reducing the firm’s overall carbon footprint and improving forestry conditions in areas where the need is greatest. As part of the Moore Global network of accounting firms across the globe, Armanino's Canopy will be part of the larger Moore Forest planted and managed by Treedom.
