ARC (Association of Related Churches) Celebrates a Successful Gather Conference

ARC (Association of Related Churches) held another successful ARC Gather event. With more than 5,700 people attending across 18 locations in the U.S. and four in Canada, it was the largest Gather event to date.

On October 17, ARC (Association of Related Churches) held yet another successful ARC Gather event. With more than 5,700 people attending at 18 locations throughout the United States -- and in four locations in Canada in September -- it was the largest Gather attendance to date.

ARC Gather has come a long way since it started only three years ago. The event, held simultaneously at various locations throughout the U.S., provides a space for pastors and ARC church leaders to build relationships with other people who are in ministry in their region and to receive resources that can help their local church thrive.

In addition to meeting like-minded people, the Gather Conference provided attendees with the opportunity to hear from dynamic speakers, each unique to their location. Dino Rizzo, the president and executive director of ARC (Association of Related Churches), also gave a video message to each location.

At many locations, there was a Q&A session, panel discussions, and even breakout sessions where attendees were able to dive deeper into specific topics relating to leadership and their local ARC church.

The event was completely free for all to attend, thanks to the generosity of each Gather host church as well as the sponsors of the event.

Sponsors included Worldserve International, Highlands College, Destiny Rescue, Cadence Insurance, Overflow, OneHope, Master’s Plan, 5 Words Media, Vapor Ministries, Hand of Hope, Convoy of Hope, Compassion, and the Wesleyan Investment Foundation.

ARC Gather events were held at Anderson, South Carolina; Antioch and Palm Desert, California; Atlanta, Georgia; Austin, Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Boston, Massachusetts; Columbus, Ohio; Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville, Florida; Fredericksburg, Virginia; Minneapolis, Minnesota; New York City, New York; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Seattle, Washington; and Wilmington, North Carolina.

The 2023 Gather Conference fits perfectly with the main mission of ARC (Association of Related Churches), which is that no one should do ministry alone. It’s just one way that the organization ensures that everyone who is involved in ministry or interested in launching a new ARC church gets the support, guidance, and community that they need to do so.

Beyond that, ARC church leaders work hard every day to help new church leaders reach as many people as possible with the message of Jesus. The goal is to have a life-giving church in every community throughout the world.

In addition to providing valuable resources and support for all those interested in launching a new ARC church, the organization also provides matching funds to those who qualify. That’s because the organization doesn’t just want ARC churches to survive; it wants to see them thrive.

ARC (Association of Related Churches) is a cooperative of independent churches from different backgrounds, networks, and denominations, all of which strategically resource church planters and pastors to help them reach people with the message of Jesus.
