Liberty Latin America Selects Aria Systems as Dedicated Billing and Monetization Platform Across the Region

Starting with Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, Aria’s platform will be a key component of Liberty Latin America’s newly modernized technology architecture

Aria Systems, the leader in helping enterprises grow subscription- and usage-based revenue, today announced that Liberty Latin America, a leading communications company operating in over 20 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean, has selected Aria as its dedicated billing and monetization platform provider for the company’s growing portfolio of communications service providers (CSPs). The first implementation of Aria’s cloud platform will occur within its newly acquired wireless and wireline operations in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, obtained through an acquisition completed by Liberty Latin America in October.

“Aria’s cloud platform features the flexibility and ease of configuration in a modern and scalable architecture that will enable us to offer new digital products and bundles while providing our markets with many billing options for our customers and solid interoperability to our larger ecosystem,” said Christine Weber, Chief Information Officer and Interim Chief Technology Officer, Liberty Latin America. “As we continue to grow our business in the region, Aria’s billing platform will be a critical element of our modernized technology architecture helping us to accelerate revenue generation from new acquisitions and meet our customers’ future billing needs.”

Aria’s multi-tenant billing platform will reside seamlessly alongside CRM, online charging, and other back-office systems as part of Liberty Latin America’s new cloud-native reference architecture. In addition to providing accurate, frictionless billing for traditional voice and data services, the Aria platform will enable Liberty Latin America to launch a wide range of new digital and 5G-powered services for both commercial and consumer markets.

“The selection of Aria as Liberty Latin America’s preferred billing provider is a true testament to the value of our platform for those in the telecommunications industry that recognize the importance of having a modernized billing platform that can be deployed with speed and ease,” said Tom Dibble, President and CEO, Aria Systems. “We look forward to supporting Liberty Latin America’s continued growth through this partnership.”
