HONOLULU, HI / ACCESSWIRE / March 24, 2023 / The critically-acclaimed '20 MINUTES' movie had a huge opening in Hawaii on Thursday evening during the sneak previews in all the theaters.
The film had one of the highest per-screen averages in the nation. The reaction was also stellar with exit polls of A+
"My entire group were crying," said one movie-goer. "This film was super emotional for me as I got the missile alert, but at least I didn't die."
"This film made me feel so strangely happy," said another goer. "I'm not afraid to die after seeing this."
"I wish every single movie were as good as this," said a pastor of a small church in Ewa Beach. "My shirt is drenched with tears."
One film attendee laughed and said his friend tried to escape the island the same way as one of the characters in the film. "I was shocked the missile really came. It was a brilliant twist and really got people serious about God. God is real."
The film pits different characters together including an atheist with a Believer; a Republican with a Democrat; a White nationalist with a Black sergeant; and the result makes for a stunning movie. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France and received critical acclaim in further screenings in NYC and LA.
