On March 24, 2004, Ashford Hospitality Trust, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it closed on its purchase of a $6.6 million mezzanine loan to Parkland Hotel Investors on Northland Inn and Executive Conference Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
