          Goodrich Petroleum Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release on August 6, 2008, containing financial and operational results for the second quarter of 2008. A copy of the Company’s press release announcing the financial results is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report on Form 8-K.
