In connection with their proposed merger, RRI Energy, Inc. and Mirant Corporation have filed a joint application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (the “FERC”). This filing was made on May 14, 2010, under Section 203 of the Federal Power Act and Part 33 of the regulations of the F ERC.
