Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On February 7, 2008, MetLife, Inc., a Delaware Corporation, furnished a Current Report on Form 8-K
(the “Original Form 8-K”) to the Securities and Exchange
Commission to report the issuance on February 6, 2008 of (i) a
press release announcing its results for the quarter and full year
ended December 31, 2007, and (ii) a Quarterly Financial Supplement for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 (the “QFS”).
This Current Report on Form 8-K/A amends the Original Form 8-K solely for the purpose of correcting
page 5 to the QFS, a copy of which was furnished as Exhibit 99.2. Specifically, on page 5, the
“allocated equity” attribution by segment has been updated with no change to the consolidated
total. A copy of the QFS, as corrected, is attached as Exhibit 99.2 to this Form 8-K/A.
