Results of Operations and Financial Condition
On April 27, 2009, the Company reported a net loss of $1.4 million, or $0.03 per diluted share, for the first quarter ended March 31, 2009, as compared with a net loss of $6.8 million, or $0.14 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2008. Net sales for the first quarter declined 20 percent to $238.8 million, from $298.7 million in 2008.
