ELBIT SYSTEMS' SUBSIDIARY,TALLA-COM, AWARDED MULTIPLE CONTRACTS FROM U.S. DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE TO SUPPLY UHF SATCOM POWER AMPLIFIERS
Total value of the contracts amount to $13 million
Haifa, Israel, December 12, 2007 – Elbit Systems Ltd.-(NASDAQ:ESLT) announced that Tallahassee Communications Industries, Inc. (Talla-Com), its wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary, was recently awarded multiple contracts from U.S. Department of Defense Agencies to supply UHF SATCOM (Satellite Communications) Power Amplifiers to the military. The contracts' values sum up to $13 million.
Talla-Com's President, Mr. Joel Friederich views these awards as "testament to the trust of our customers in the performance and quality of our products and our company. Talla-Com is proud to provide the U.S. military with the technology that will enable them to complete their missions successfully."
