On March 31, 2015, Bovie Medical Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that Craig-Hallum Capital Group LLC, the underwriter of the Company’s previously announced public offering registered on the Company’s Registration Statement on Form S-3 (File No. 333-200986), has exercised a portion of its over-allotment option to purchase an additional 418,749 shares of common stock at an aggregate price of $2.50 per share. After closing of the over-allotment, the total number of shares sold by the Company in the offering is 5,218,749. A copy of this press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
