On May 14, 2007, Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) received notice from John C. Pottage, Jr. M.D., Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of the Company that Dr. Pottage intended to resign his position with the Company effective May 29, 2007.
