Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.

 

As previously disclosed, STERIS Corporation (the “Company”) became aware of an investigation being conducted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. Department of Justice regarding the Company’s SYSTEM 1® sterile processing system. The Company recently received a subpoena from the Department of Justice requesting information, which the Company believes is in connection with the investigation. The Company is in the process of reviewing the request for information and intends to cooperate with the government agencies regarding this request for information and the investigation.
