Item 9. Regulation FD Disclosure.

 

On June 15, 2004, Casey’s General Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: CASY) reported May 2004 same-store sales results. Average gasoline gallons sold per store decreased 1.8% in May 2004 compared to May 2003. Same-store sales of grocery and other merchandise increased 0.9% and prepared food same-store sales increased 2.5% in May 2004 compared to May 2003.
