PARTNER COMMUNICATIONS ANNOUNCES THE
APPOINTMENT OF MR. DAVID ARBEL AS V.P OPERATIONS
ROSH HA'AYIN, Israel, July 21, 2010 - Partner Communications Company Ltd. ("Partner" or "the Company") (NASDAQ and TASE: PTNR), a leading Israeli communications operator, announces the appointment of Mr. David Arbel as the Company’s Vice President of Operations, replacing Mr. Chaim Beker, who has decided to retire.
David Arbel will join the company on August 1, and assume his responsibility on October 1. Mr. Beker will remain with the company during the transition period to ensure a smooth transition.
Over the past 3 years, Mr. Arbel served as the Head of ZIM Ship management Directorate and was responsible for the fleet management, technical array and the logistical supply chain, supporting the fleet in Israel and worldwide.
In 2007, David Arbel retired from the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) at a rank of colonel after serving in various operational, logistical and technology engineering command positions.
Mr. David Arbel has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and MBA from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. In addition, he has M.A in Political Science from the University of Haifa.
