On July 23, 2008, Federal Trust Corporation announced that the Office of Thrift Supervision has extended the deadline to September 30, 2008, by which the Company must raise additional capital. The Office of Thrift Supervision also extended the deadline to November 15, 2008, for the Company to execute a merger agreement if the capital raising efforts are unsuccessful.
