Explanatory Note
On June 7, 2013, Rite Aid Corporation (the “Company”) filed a Current Report on Form 8-K (the “Original Form 8-K”) that attached a press release, dated June 7, 2013, of the Company as Exhibit 99.1, which included preliminary financial information and updated guidance. The purpose of this Current Report on Form 8-K/A is to correct a clerical error in the edgarized version of such exhibit. Exhibit 99.1 in the Original Form 8-K is hereby replaced in its entirety by Exhibit 99.1 to this Amendment No. 1 to the Original Form 8-K.
