McKinsey study warns of oil price spike as early as next year

As oil producers, natural gas companies and oil drillers lay off workers and scale back capital spending in the face of the recession and the global credit crunch, these actions may soon contribute to another price spike in oil, a report by the McKinsey Global Institute said Tuesday.
