UAW pauses strike expansion after ‘transformative win’ at GM on battery factories

The United Auto Workers on Friday has kept its strike at the same facilities after what union President Shawn Fain called a "transformative win" at General Motors Co., which agreed to bring its electric-battery manufacturing workers under a future labor agreement.
