AbraSilver Resource Corp (TSX-V:ABRA, OTCQX:ABBRF) CEO John Miniotis speaks to Thomas Warner from Proactive about the latest developments at the company's silver and gold exploration project in Argentina's mining-friendly province of Salta.
The key project, Diablillos, already boasts a substantial measured and indicated resource base of 110 million ounces of silver and 1.3 million ounces of gold close to the surface. However, Miniotis is currently focused on a new high-grade discovery, the "JAC zone," located just a few hundred meters from the existing pit.
AbraSilver is nearing the completion of a 22,000-meter drill campaign and expects to announce a resource estimate for JACS and a pre-feasibility study for the entire project in the coming months, offering an opportunity particularly for "patient" investors, according to Miniotis.
Miniotis says that investors can expect "plenty of news flow" between now and the end of 2023. He adds that the Salta province of Argentina is "extremely mining friendly."
