U.S. unemployment claims rise slightly to 745,000 after Texas power outages

The number of new applications for U.S. unemployment benefits rose slightly at the end of February, signaling the economy is still a long way from recovering all the jobs lost during the coronavirus pandemic. Initial jobless claims rose by 9,000 to 745,000.
