Sparton’s Plaistow New Hampshire Facility Achieves Their Tenth Consecutive Supplier Excellence Award from Raytheon

Sparton MDS, an industry leader in the design and manufacture of highly-complex electronic and electromechanical devices, was recognized for its outstanding performance and partnership as a supplier to Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) with a 4-Star Supplier award. This is the tenth consecutive year Sparton’s Plaistow New Hampshire facility has earned the Excellence Award. During this time, the site also achieved a Bronze Affordability Award for cost reductions.

“We are honored to support Raytheon and are privileged to have received this award. Our performance over the years has shown the dedication to quality that is a hallmark of our organization. This award places Sparton in the top 5% of all eligible Raytheon IDS suppliers. I’m especially proud of our employees and their work ethic and dedication,” said Paul Fraipont, Sparton MDS CEO.

Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems business instituted the annual Supplier Excellence Awards program to recognize suppliers who have provided outstanding service and partnership in exceeding customer requirements. Award candidates are judged on certain criteria, including overall quality and on-time delivery. Sparton was one of 86 companies recognized by Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems business for 4-Star honors.

“The Sparton Plaistow team is committed to providing excellent quality and on-time delivery of the defense products we manufacture. It is truly an honor to be recognized by Raytheon for the tenth consecutive year. Our expert staff at Plaistow has worked very hard every year to achieve this award. We will continue to provide Raytheon with outstanding customer service excellence,” said Jim Adams, Business Unit Director for Sparton Plaistow.
