Broadcom shares jump on fresh Apple contract

For years, Broadcom has sold Apple chips that help iPhones, iPads and MacBooks connect to WiFi networks, and in some cases support wireless charging and touchscreen capabilities. About 25 percent of the company’s net revenue last year came from Apple alone.
