COLLIER COUNTY, FloridaFirefighters and EMS Fund assisted the Collier County Fire Association in advocating in favor of an August 28, 2018 referendum that would set a budget for the Collier County Fire Department for the first time since 2000.

Activists from Firefighters and EMS Fund partnered with the Collier County Fire Association in their effort to get the referendum passed. Firefighters and EMS Fund deployed 8,000 automated calls from Firefighters Association President Chris Spencer advocating in favor of the fire department budget referendum.
