Epic Stores Corp. to Partner with Arizona State University

Collaboration Will Support "Tempe Dollars for Scholars"

PHOENIX, AZ / ACCESSWIRE / March 22, 2016 / Epic Stores Corp. ("Epic" or the "Company") (OTCQB: EPSC), a second-hand goods retailer that operates retail stores in the United States, today announced that Epic has partnered with Arizona State University, the largest public university in the United States, to benefit "Tempe Dollars for Scholars."

Epic and Arizona State University are partnering to collect unwanted clothing, home goods, and furniture during student move-out days. The program's mission is to encourage a greater sense of community among the ASU residents by promoting a cause to bolster the awareness of community issues, community contribution, and educating the community on the importance of diverting useable goods from landfills. Both Epic and ASU will allocate graphic designers and marketing experts to create a marketing campaign aimed at the ASU community, with the goal of transitioning to a student-led event next year.

Epic will pay "Tempe Dollars for Scholars" for every pound of items that ASU students, faculty, and staff collect. Dollars for Scholars is a nonprofit scholarship organization that focuses on easing the financial burden for students seeking a four year degree.

"We're looking forward to working with the 'Tempe Dollars for Scholars' and the Arizona State University community," commented Brian Davidson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Epic Stores Corp. "We will continue to advance our initiatives through charitable partnerships in the months to come. Working with organizations such as this, and others we've announced previously, will enable us to expand our brand while giving back to incredible organizations like Tempe Dollars for Scholars."
