Uncrowdit Makes It Possible for DIY Campaigners to Connect with the Crowd

By: PRLog
For the first time self-crowdfunded campaigners benefit from the same exposure as platform campaigners
March 15, 2016 - PRLog -- Uncrowdit is pleased to announce the launch of its crowdfunding venue, uncrowdit.com, the first of its kind to provide potential backers with access to a more diverse group of campaigners. Uncrowdit is kicking off by making it possible for do-it-yourself (DIY) campaigners from all fields and locations to advertise their projects and reach new crowds.

As the crowdfunding market continues to grow, independent campaigners are becoming an increasingly significant presence. DIY campaigners face a unique challenge of attracting the attention of potential backers without leveraging on the traffic of an established platform. Uncrowdit provides campaigners who collect contributions directly with a channel for expanding their reach to crowdfunders, beyond the immediate circle of their own website's visitors.

Campaigners can advertise their projects on Uncrowdit, and enjoy a full campaign page where they share their story, offer rewards, and interact with potential backers. DIY campaigners can link their page to a personal website, and in the absence of one, directly to a payment form.

"Uncrowdit.com was launched with the mission of breaching the current confines of who can run a crowdfunding campaign," said founder, Alex Duke. "As the crowdfunding market continues to grow, it is becoming clear that there are still many groups of campaigners who are overlooked by existing platforms. One of the players to fall between the cracks is the DIY campaigner."

"That is why we set out to give self-crowdfunded campaigns the same chance for exposure that we give other campaigns and products advertised in our marketplace. We are committed to providing campaigners of all types with a springboard to success, and presenting potential backers with a diversity of projects that breaches the boundaries of platform, location, or otherwise."

How it works:
- For a flat price with no percentages, campaigners create a page on Uncrowdit in which they provide backers with information about their project and upload or link supporting content.

- Project pages include a SUPPORT button which campaigners link to their campaign, personal website, or payment form.

- Campaigners may advertise the rewards they offer backers on their project page, and issue updates.

Uncrowdit is in the process of fine-tuning its offering for platform campaigners, currently in beta-mode, and anticipates its official launch in coming weeks.

About Uncrowdit
Uncrowdit is a meeting place for campaigners, ex-campaigners, and backers, in an increasingly fragmented crowdfunding world.
