Cannabis Pioneer Calvin Frye Join Gala Global, Inc. Advisory Board

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / July 7, 2015 / Gala Global, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GLAG) is pleased to announce a signed management and service contract under its wholly owned subsidiary Cannabis Ventures. Cannabis Ventures recently signed a management contract with an Ontario Canada based operation to manage the business affairs and provide comprehensive service. Cannabis Venture will assist the client regarding equipment and installation services for their final application review process with Health Canada for the Marijuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR) license. Cannabis Venture also signed initial management service agreement with California Dispensary operations, Compassionate Caregivers. Compassionate Caregiver was one of the first approved legal dispensary in the United States.

Cannabis Ventures, Inc will work with GreenGro Technologies' (PINKSHEETS:GRNH) Vertical Hydrogarden subsidiary to supply the modular Grow Rooms and additional equipment support required for the project including equipment sourcing and technology applications. Greengro will also extend their expertise related to indoor and outdoor agricultural science systems and techniques for implementing medical marijuana plant growth systems consulting in key areas such as structure and interior design.

Mr. Calvin Frye, a seasoned cannabis pioneer, dispensary owner, and industry consultant joins the Gala Global' advisory board. Mr. Frye has significant experience in the biotech industry having worked with Xoma, Amgen and Baxter Biosciences. He has over a decade of experience in the cannabis industry and considers himself a pioneer in the movement. In 2005, he opened one of the first legal dispensaries in the United States. Mr. Frye has helped get legislation passed to make State recreational or medical cannabis legal in WA, OR and CO. Mr. Frye has extensive knowledge of the regulatory issues within this industry resulting from his experience working with the LA City Council, the Mayor and the LAPD. Mr. Frye has also branded his own line of cannabis genetics and trademarked the name "Cloneville" which he has attached to his genetics. This is very important in establishing a successful Brand. Mr. Frye owns Frye Consulting and Management Group, which provides consulting services for startup to full scale production facilities, including regulatory expertise. Mr. Frye also employs a tribal attorney who has vast experience of working with Indian Reservations and the Federal Government. Mr. Frye earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa in Science Education. He also attended graduate school with an emphasis in General Science.
