Stocks to Watch for February 12, 2014

Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) broke out to a new all-time high today accompanied by a solid volume suggesting higher levels. The stock has been in a nice uptrend for the last two weeks and it looks very strong with both 50-day and 200-day exp moving average going up while %K line is on top of %D line. The stock hit a high of $65, which is resistance for Wednesday’s move. If the stock can break through resistance, we should see a follow through move as there is a high short interest in the stock. Watch the stock closely tomorrow.

PolyOne Corporation (NYSE:POL) stock had a slightly pulled back today but the rally might still have legs. I like the stock as long as it remains above $34.02 (50EMA).

Superconductor Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:SCON) has been beaten down since January, but at this moment it seems pretty clear that buyers have been waiting in the 2.35-2.50 range. It looks like the stock is starting to turn back up and indicators are giving the first bullish signs.

American Superconductor Corporation (NASDAQ:AMSC) has been under a buying pressure in the last few days and stock looks primed for a quick retest of the 1.82 level. Technical indicators are looking bullish. MACD confirms price trend reversal and is accompained by bullish signal line crossover. I expect the shares to test prior highs in the coming days.
