Dr. O'Shea's Prestigous Election to CASP Board Elevates Verbal Behavior Associates in Enhancing Autism Care

Verbal Behavior Associates® is excited to announce that its President, Dr. Heather O'Shea, was elected to the board of directors for the Council of Autism Service Providers (CASP). CASP began in 2009 with a group of dedicated executives committed to meeting, sharing ideas, and solving problems. In 2015, CASP was established as a non-profit trade association for provider organizations serving individuals with autism spectrum disorder.

Verbal Behavior Associates® has been providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy with children facing autism and other developmental challenges across several areas in California, such as San Diego, Orange County, Riverside County, Los Angeles County, and the East Bay since 2010.

Dr. O'Shea has guided Verbal Behavior Associates® to continue its mission of developing language and behavioral skills in children, helping them move towards independence and a fulfilling life. Her passion mirrors CASP's goals of enhancing care quality and best practices for individuals with autism. With a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral, Dr. O'Shea is respected for her ABA contributions, including developing session notes templates for ABA services.

"My election to the CASP board reflects our commitment to ensuring quality ABA therapy and supporting children with autism," Dr. O'Shea says. "I'm honored to work with other leaders to further enrich support for the communities we serve." More details about CASP and Dr. O'Shea's involvement can be found on CASP's website.
