First Gen Law Welcomes New Partner and Expands to Mexico City

First Gen Law (FGL), a consulting and law firm headquartered in New York City, New York, is pleased to announce the addition of Danielle Falls as a Partner with the firm. 

Falls is a media and intellectual property attorney who counsels clients on a variety of blockchain, consumer protection, entertainment, e-commerce, privacy, and technology matters. She also serves as outside general counsel to a number of startups and emerging companies in the consumer space, advising on business strategy as well as corporate transactions, compliance, and risk exposure. Her entertainment practice focuses on helping clients exercise their First Amendment and fair use rights while developing and producing content.

In addition to her successful track record in zealously defending her clients, she brings with her a breadth of knowledge in the health and wellness space. Her vast expertise in the blockchain industry will also be especially crucial to FGL's growing technology and fintech practice areas," said Anuj Gupta, the firm's Managing Partner.

Falls received her Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law and earned a Bachelor Fine Arts from New York University. Prior to joining First Gen Law, Falls worked at Smith Entertainment Law Group, Jayaram Law, Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP and NBCUniversal Media, where she represented publishers, broadcasters, and advertisers in complex cases involving the freedoms of speech and press.

In addition to Falls, Ana Huerta will also join the firm as a Senior Associate. With the addition of Huerta, who has extensive experience in corporate law, First Gen Law has officially opened a Mexico City, Mexico location for the practice.
