Of Lux Heirloom’s many box options, the most popular are their glass print boxes, which are made of high-quality glass and brass. Customers can choose from three different finishes — gold, rose gold, and textured black.
“Prints are just pieces of paper without packaging,” explained a spokesperson for the company. “However, when we put these gorgeous prints into our beautiful glass print boxes they suddenly become heirlooms that families pass down for several generations.”
Customers wanting something softer can opt for one of Lux Heirloom’s velvet or linen print boxes. The velvet print box has slightly less storage space than the glass print box (only 110 4x6” photos), but it also has a slot for a USB device which allows customers to store additional photos that they either can’t fit in the box or don’t want to print.
The linen print box has many of the same features as the velvet print box; 110-photo storage space, a USB slot, and a magnetic closure. The only difference between the two is the color options to choose from (the velvet is available in Cream and Gray, while the linen is available in Light and Dark).
All three types of print boxes can be customized if needed. For the glass print boxes, Lux Heirloom uses a laser engraving technique that produces crisp and bold results, while for the velvet and linen print boxes, they use gold or silver debossing. It’s worth noting that customers who purchase the velvet print box also have the option to add a custom monogram to it.
