Canadian education consultancy GrantMe has launched updates to its online programs, designed to assist students with the admissions process and to secure funding.

As part of the enhancements, the firm now offers separate programs for students in grades 9-10, grade 11, grade 12, or the first year of university. Consultancy services available include mentorship, university selection and application support, scholarship matching, and essay writing assistance.

The goals of GrantMe’s updated education platform are twofold: to help students successfully gain admission to their preferred university, and to help students earn a greater amount of scholarship funding. The firm states that its programs can now increase the likelihood of receiving a major entrance award by up to 500%.
A statistical review of the Canada Student Loans Program showed that more than 1.7 million Canadians have outstanding student loans. The Canadian Federation of Students states that this amounts to $22.3 billion, and Statistics Canada reports that the average student loan debt, on graduation from an undergraduate degree, is approximately $28,000.
GrantMe believes that many students do not know how to apply or be competitive for scholarship and awards programs. The firm’s recent revisions place greater focus on matching students with scholarships that they are well-suited to. In-house advisors also offer assistance with reviewing and editing scholarship applications, allowing students to apply for a greater number of awards.
Similarly, the GrantMe team offers review and editing of university applications and essays, designed to provide students with confidence that their documents are at an appropriate standard. The full range of services is available via the GrantMe web application, allowing students from across the country to access the program.
