FIP’s team has been busy serving clients and the community, as evidenced by the addition of a new team member, the launch of a new non-profit, a new book release, and an award for the practice’s first book.
FIP is a Tucson, Arizona, based outpatient mental health and personal development practice that integrates science, psychology, and spirituality to help clients with mental health and emotional challenges achieve stability and recovery as quickly as possible. FIP Founder and Director Dr. Joy Kwakuyi, DNP PMHNP-BC, is the author of books including ‘The Ultimate Cure For Depression: Leveraging Science and Faith for Total Healing’ and ‘Ultimate Fulfillment: A Blueprint for Finding and Living Your Purpose.’

Dr. Kwakuyi recently co-authored ‘Perfect Joy Devotional Journal: The Ultimate 365-Day Companion for Your Christian Journey’ with FIP co-founder Mrs. Esenam Kwakuyi. This journal has already become a sensation within the Christian community and is now available on Amazon. The journal features scripture references to encourage users to read their Bible for at least a few minutes each day; a theme for each day; prompts and questions to keep users engaged; daily affirmations; and spaces for writing daily prayers.
Dr. and Mrs. Kwakuyi have also launched a new non-profit organization called Marriage Mentoring Network (MMN) to support and strengthen marriages by connecting couples who are seeking help with more experienced couples who are willing to share their experiences. Last, but certainly not least, FIP has welcomed Ms. Ann Bruno aboard to bring about even better clinical support for the local community. She holds a Masters Degree in Education (M.Ed.) with a specialization in Counseling and Guidance from the University of Arizona and approximately 20 years of experience in this field.
