In the interview, Brandon reflects on his time as Head of Production at DEPARTMENT, a Paris-Montreal creative studio, and his later work with Real by Fake, a major production house in Los Angeles. These experiences, he says, taught him how to lead under pressure and bring big ideas to life.
“Production showed me how to solve problems in real time,” Brandon shares. “Tech gave me the tools to scale those solutions.”
Following his work in international film, Brandon launched his own production company and gradually shifted his focus to the intersection of creativity and technology. What started as an effort to build better tools for the media industry expanded into broader applications—streamlining workflows, enhancing collaboration, and improving systems that affect people’s everyday lives.
While he hints at his latest venture, Brandon remains focused on the throughline that connects his work: identifying inefficiencies and fixing what’s broken.
“You don’t need to stay in one lane,” he says. “Sometimes the best ideas come from the collision of totally different worlds.”
