“Suffolk is thrilled to add Aleksey to our cutting-edge data analytics team, which is helping to lead the intelligence revolution across the built world,” said Jit Kee Chin. “Suffolk is an industry leader in our approach to technology and we will continue accelerating our data and analytics function as the world turns to digital solutions and artificial intelligence. As we expand and standardize our use of data across the project lifecycle, Aleksey’s strategic mindset and technical expertise will help Suffolk continue to lead the industry in tech-enabled innovation.”

Mr. Chuprov joins Suffolk after six years with McKinsey & Company, most recently as an Associate Partner, where he served clients in construction, engineering, energy and manufacturing industries with a specific focus on capital investment strategy and portfolio optimization, project value improvement and delivery excellence. In this role, he helped clients shape and execute their growth and improve performance by leveraging data and AI at scale. Prior to this, Mr. Chuprov was a Project Manager and Offshore Rig Operations Manager for Schlumberger, where he gained valuable experience managing sizeable teams and a complex ecosystem of subcontractors and partners to construct and operate advanced offshore rigs.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to join Suffolk, a company that is on the leading edge of data innovation in the construction industry,” said Mr. Chuprov. “Suffolk already maintains a great level of transparency in its operations through data; in just a matter of clicks, we can see exactly the status and trends of each of our projects across the country, which helps teams predict where projects are headed in terms of cost, schedule and even safety outcomes. Understanding the current state of our projects enables Suffolk to optimize the delivery of our projects, as well as predict and mitigate issues before they even arise; that is the level of difference between Suffolk and our competitors.”

Mr. Chuprov will work with Ms. Chin and the company’s data analytics team to steward Suffolk’s data and analytics function, developing strategies to direct the company’s investments in data innovation and AI both now and in the future.

Suffolk is an industry leader in innovation investment, operating under a national vision to create a more efficient, connected and sustainable built environment. In addition to the company’s dedicated team of data professionals and national Operations Excellence framework, Suffolk’s investment affiliate arm Suffolk Technologies identifies, invests in, and pilots game changing solutions on Suffolk’s jobsites across the country. These solutions range across themes including artificial intelligence for risk mitigation, supply chain visibility and efficiency, sustainability compliance and reporting, field-focused data and digitization, and design optimization. Aligning with Suffolk’s innovative spirit and leveraging his comprehensive industry experience, Mr. Chuprov will offer unparalleled value to Suffolk’s data and analytics function as the company aspires toward its mission to redefine how America builds.
