In this key role, Mr. Gonzalez will serve as a trusted leader within Suffolk’s Los Angeles office, providing valuable direction in all phases of construction while fostering key relationships, driving growth in strategic sectors, and streamlining operations to deliver project excellence across the company’s Southern California operation.

Mr. Gonzalez joins Suffolk from CRB Group, where he served as the Senior Director of Construction Operations of the Western Region. In his 28 years of industry experience, including with DPR, Rudolph and Sletten, Mr. Gonzalez has managed projects across a diverse range of sectors including life sciences, healthcare, higher education and commercial. Notable projects throughout his career include a range of renovations, expansions, and new construction projects for world-renowned pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients such as Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Amgen, Inc., and Edwards Lifesciences, leading healthcare providers such as Kaiser Permanente and Cedars-Sinai, and prominent higher education institutions such as The California Institute of Technology and The University of Southern California. This robust portfolio provides Mr. Gonzalez with a strong operational foundation on which to build future success on complex and sophisticated projects across the region.

Mr. Gonzalez is a member of the Design Build Institute of America, as well as the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers, the American Society of Healthcare Engineering and the Lean Construction Institute. Passionate about providing mentorship and education opportunities to strengthen the pipeline of future construction workers, Mr. Gonzalez is heavily involved with the ACE Mentor Program of America. He graduated from California State University, Chico where he earned a B.S. in Construction Management.
