Immtech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) requires additional time to compile certain information required to prepare a complete Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q, which was due to be filed on August 14, 2009. The Company could not complete its compilation and review of the financial statements and related disclosures, including disclosures related to the Company’s liquidity, without unreasonable effort or expense.
