Item 8.01 Other Events.

Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. ("Company") announced that it expects to receive formal notification from Hansen Natural Corporation terminating its agreements to distribute Monster Energy as well as its other beverage brands in certain U.S. markets. In connection with the announcement, the Company issued a press release on October 6, 2008, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.
